Daruma doll

This is an authentic Japanese Daruma doll hand-made in Japan.  The normal colour is red.

A Daruma doll (Japanese: 達磨) is a hollow, round, Japanese traditional doll modeled after Bodhidharma, the founder of the Zen tradition of Buddhism.

It is a good luck charm to make a wish or set a goal.

The eyes are not painted purposely for the owner of the doll to paint them, which is a typical process of having this daruma doll.

The process is quite simple.

1. When you wish something, you paint the left eye.

2. When your wish comes true, paint the right eye.

Gift it with other Daruma items in our store!

Discover the essence of perseverance and good fortune with our authentic Japanese Daruma doll, meticulously handcrafted in Japan. Traditionally colored in vibrant red, this Daruma doll embodies the spirit of Bodhidharma, the revered founder of Zen Buddhism, in its design and purpose. A Symbol of Determination and Achievement The Daruma doll is more than just a decorative piece; it serves as a powerful talisman for setting intentions or goals. Its unique feature lies in its eyes - left blank for you to engage in the meaningful ritual of painting them yourself: Set Your Goal: Paint the left eye while focusing on your wish or goal, imbuing the Daruma with your personal aspirations. Celebrate Your Success: Once your wish comes to fruition, complete the Daruma's gaze by painting the right eye, a symbolic act of gratitude and acknowledgment of your perseverance. A Thoughtful Gift of Inspiration This Daruma doll, with its rich cultural heritage and symbolic significance, makes for an inspiring gift. Pair it with other Daruma-themed items from our collection to share a message of hope, resilience, and success.Daruma doll
