About the Artist: Yagi Kaihou Yagi Kaihou’s journey in ceramics is marked by notable achievements, including a live demonstration of his painting skills in the presence of Her Majesty the Empress in 1968. His talent further graced international stages with a Kyo-ware and Kiyomizu-ware exhibition in Paris in 1993, where he showcased his painting prowess. Recognized for his contributions to traditional Japanese ceramics, he was certified as a traditional craftsman in 2003, a testament to his mastery and dedication to the art.
