Premium Kyoto Chiyogami (large) 16 papers 15cm

Chiyogami is made from traditional Japanese paper ‘Washi’, while origami papers are usually made from western papers.

“Chiyo” means 1,000 Generations & “-Gami” means paper in Japanese and they normally have color-printed traditional Japanese pattern.

Originally the design was applied to handmade kozo paper with wood blocks, but today most chiyogami is produced with silkscreen techniques.

Each Chiyogami has a different pattern.
