This is a handmade kit that can be enjoyed by everyone from children to the elderly.

The theme is Koinobori – carp streamer.
Koinobori meaning “carp streamer” in Japanese, are carp-shaped windsocks
The “carp” is a fish that swims vigorously even in a strong, fast-flowing, strong river and climbs a waterfall.
In Japan, we hang Carp streamer outside the house on the child day (5th May) to wish that the boys grow up like a strong carp.
These kits are produced by a company which specializes Japanese paper ‘和紙 Washi’.
You can make Koinobori, Kabuto helmet, and May flower Iris with beautiful washi, yuzen papers.
There is also an English instruction included which is easy to understand with an illustration.
