About the Artist

This beer cup was created by Taya Yoshiro (多屋嘉朗).

After graduating from the Department of Ceramics at Kyoto Seika University in 1993, he trained under renowned ceramic artist Araki Yoshitaka for four years before establishing his own kiln in Uji, Kyoto.

His works have been exhibited extensively throughout Japan and are appreciated for their balance of functionality and craftsmanship.

Each cup bears the artist’s stamp on the base as a mark of authenticity.
