Choose the Matcha bowl that suits your style:

Harugasumi (春霞) – A soft and elegant design inspired by the gentle haze of a spring morning in Japan. Its white surface is decorated with flowing blue-grey tones, creating a calm and understated appearance.

Aokinyou (青均窯) – A striking deep blue bowl with rich variations of navy, blue-black and vivid cobalt. Its dark interior creates a beautiful contrast with the vibrant green colour of freshly whisked Matcha.

Both bowls feature a tsutsu-gata (筒形), or cylindrical shape, with a simple, substantial form that sits comfortably in the hands.

The set includes a 100-prong bamboo Matcha whisk (Chasen), designed to help create a smooth Matcha with a fine layer of foam, together with a bamboo scoop (Chashaku) and a whisk stand to help maintain the shape of your Chasen between uses.

Japanese Matcha green tea powder is also included, giving you the essentials you need to start preparing Matcha at home.

Tips for a Better Matcha Experience:

Tip 1: Warm the bowl with hot water and soak the whisk for a few seconds before use. This softens the bamboo and makes whisking easier — plus, the warm bowl helps keep your tea hot.

Tip 2:  Sift the Matcha powder before adding hot water with a Matcha tea sifter.  This small step prevents lumps and creates a creamier texture.
