This is a ceremonial grade Matcha from Shizuoka prefecture – world agricultural heritage in Japan.

The package contains 10 sticks of the 2g Matcha green tea powder.

Ceremonial Grade Kawane Matcha Sticks 20g

Content: 20 g – 2 g in a stick x 10 sticks

Instructions:

Sift the Matcha Green Tea powder in an empty Matcha bowl before adding hot water.

For a hot drink: Put 1 stick of Matcha Green Tea powder in a Matcha bowl, add hot water equivalent to 1/3 of your Matcha bowl (80 degrees) and whisk for 1 minute by using a bamboo whisk. Add more hot water according to your liking.

For a cold drink: Put 1 stick of Matcha Green Tea powder in a Matcha bowl, add hot water equivalent to 1/3 of your cup (ideally 80 degrees) and whisk for 1 minute by using a bamboo whisk. Then add cold water and some ice. Adjust the amount of water according to your liking.

Easiest way to make Cold Matcha: Add 1 stick of Matcha green tea powder in a water bottle or in a clean jar. Add small amount of cold water (around 80ml), close the lid and shake it well until the lumps disappear. Add more cold water according to your liking.
