This Furin is called Nanbu, which is produced in Iwate prefecture.

Iwate is known as cast iron making and is popular and have been known as producing good wind chimes.

They play a unique transparent and beautiful tone, therefore they have been loved by many people for a long time.

This furin has a shape of Dōtaku (銅鐸) which are bronze bell used for festivals during the Yayoi period (B.C. 300 – A.D.250).
