No re-packaging in other counties, therefore we can assure you the freshest Matcha on the market. Our teas grow in a small pesticide free farm without chemical fertilisers. Matcha is a Japanese traditional stone ground green tea powder which is very nutritious and has many health benefits. Japan has a history of 800 years productions of Matcha green tea powder and the quality is second to none, when compared to the ones of other origins.

There are certain steps to follow in order to produce high quality Matcha. One of them is a covering method. The tea leaves called Tencha is covered so that they grow in the shade for a few weeks before harvest, which results in high content of Chlorophyll and Amino acid called L-theanine in Matcha. The leaves are steamed right after the harvest to stop oxidation then dried and packed immediately to preserve the nutrients.

Description

Japanese Matcha Green Tea powder

Shade grown traditional Japanese tea – Premium grade

Origin: Japan

Content: 100 g – makes approx. 100 cups

Instructions:

Sift the Matcha Green Tea powder in an empty cup or empty glass before adding hot water.

For a hot drink: Put 1/2 a teaspoon of Matcha Green Tea powder in a small cup, add hot water equivalent to 1/3 of your cup (80 degrees) and whisk for 30 seconds by using a bamboo whisk, a hand milk frother, or a fork. Then add more hot water or milk. Adjust the amount of hot water according to your liking.

For a cold drink: Put 1/2 a teaspoon Matcha Green tea powder in a water bottle or in a clean jar, add 80 ml water and shake well. Add more cold water or milk.

High-Grade, High-Quality Matcha for a very reasonable price. Very finely ground so it dissolves really well. Makes for amazing Matcha Lattes, and it is a very versatile product that can be used in oatmeal, for baking and to add to smoothies.
Sumie is very professional and I enjoy buying from her and this is why I keep coming back for the same product.
