Admiring Beautiful Autumn Leaves

j-okini
Nov 23, 2016 Japanese season 0 Comment

It is a season of admiring beautiful autumn leaves.  Autumn leaves are called Koyo in Japanese.  My mother sent me many pictures of autumn beautiful leaves.  In Kyoto there are many nice spots where one can enjoy pretty cherry blossoms bloom in April, and beautiful autumn leaves in November and many tourists visit Kyoto in the two seasons.

During the month of November, the weather is a bit cold but usually nice so people live there enjoy this season by doing picnic, climbing the mountains or just walking around the neighbourhood and my mother is one of them.  She walks around and admire the beauty of nature and appreciate that she can enjoy the beauty this year again.  I think that it’s a simple joy of our life.  The pictures below are a few my mother took.
