Japanese Authentic Matcha Bowl Usuzumi Sakura 薄墨桜

This is a tube-shaped Matcha bowl made in Mino Gifu prefecture of Japan.

The characteristic of Mino ware is that there are various types.  Mino ware does not have only one type, and 15 types are designated as traditional crafts.

This bowl features dark grey colour with a contrast of white half moon on the outside of the bowl and smaller half moon inside the bowl.  Inside the half moons, Sakura flowers (cherry blossoms) are painted in pink.  It’s so pretty and elegant.
